Straus Family Creamery Wins 16 Awards at LA International Dairy Competition

Petaluma, Calif., March 15, 2016 – Straus Family Creamery, the first 100% certified organic creamery in the U.S., was honored with 16 awards at the Los Angeles International Dairy Competition this month. An honored tradition, the competition spotlights the finest products within the global dairy industry and is judged by an esteemed panel of experts.

Straus Family Creamery products emerged with 8 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, including first-place awards for its two new organic ice cream flavors, Lemon Gingersnap and Strawberry. All of Straus Family Creamery’s products are made from milk and cream produced by nine, certified organic family farms in Marin and Sonoma Counties. The full list of awards includes:
