Why organic ice cream?
Albert Straus loves farming, and he also LOVES ice cream. So, when he was at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, getting his Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science, he took a course in ice-cream making.
After founding Straus Family Creamery in 1994, he set out to create the most delicious and pure ice cream, using certified organic milk and cream from his Family’s dairy farm. You will find that our super-premium, organic ice creams melt in your mouth.
